I had double checked the early comics and I noticed that Mrs. Claus' body was never found. Could it be that she was in hiding with Rudolph?
Good guess, but ill admit that I have other plans for her. She won't be showing up in volume 1.

Yeah it wasn't so Koolaid-ish in the script. Michael did that, but I was ok with it. It works.
I saw the ears and thought, "Don't tell me Smoky The Bear is getting involved?" That's just my funny bone reacting though, the outline is all wrong. I haven't a clue who this is.
