Old Debts 18
If you are a new reader, you might want to subscribe to “Holiday Wars” as well as start reading it from the beginning. Once you’re caught up on the main storyline then checkout the side stories in “Tales of Holiday’s Past.”
This is a BIG BIG comic. Why? Because this is the first time we get to see Mrs. Claus!
Also, the original narration box said “December 23rd, sixteen years ago,” but my publisher suggested I changed it so that it makes more sense in context with the Odin story. However for you fans, just note that this scene is set one day before Taylor betrays Santa to The Bunny.
Okay this is a twist. The Fenris wolf obviously, but I wonder what's in the note? Also if it's from Loki? I suspect we will find out in the main storyline since I think this is the last planned scene in the Old Debts storyline isn't it? By any chance would this be the night Santa hides the Holiday Spirit and makes all his preparations? Awful short time to set everything up if it is.
We got two episodes left to this story.
Hmmm… Mrs. Claus… I'm guessing she's Christmas Eve. Pun intended.
Good guess & nice pun, but we'll find out her name… I think in the last episode of this story.
Wait, I just realized that Loki promised not to bring up Ragnarok as long as Papa Noel walked the earth, so that means that either:
A) Santa Lives! Somehow….
B) Loki will Bring Ragnarok or try to by the end of this story (Which brings me the question, are all the players still alive? Is Vidar still destined to be the one to kill the Wolf and Thor kill the World serpent and die after 9 steps? Will the one who gave his hand to bound Fenrir kill the guardian of Hel and then die as well? I am very curious about this)
C) Loki IS bringing Ragnarok and is using the Bunny as a method to do so, (Gaia showed the future of the Earth if the Easter bunny manages to reveal their identities).
I am a new reader so I hope this is not talking too crazy.
Not crazy talk and all of which are good guesses.
I think he messed up the main story and ToHP episodes.
Tyr would be the one who sacrificed a hand to bind Fenrir …
😉
I gave that wolf some chocolate…. Wolves love chocolate.
So Santa only lived for 7 centuries? What a pity.
At the start of the story when he was Sinterklass he was already several centuries old.
You know, that Fenris wolf ain't half bad. I mean he does like chocolate after all, proof he isn't all bad.
He's always shown as a beast in the myths but it's kind of because the Asgards turned him into one. That's one of the reasons I tried to give him a tad more personality to show that there is more to him then him just being a monster.
The gist is got, but details are better then assumptions! Eyes glued to what happens next.
Hint: This week's episode is more plot-ish. Then the final one will wrap up any character arcs we have left hanging.
